Established in 2024
Founded in Los Angeles in 2024, California Gourmet Foods was born from years of hands-on experience in the catering industry.
Before creating California Gourmet Foods, our chef spent many years working alongside different catering teams and kitchens, gaining experience across a wide range of cuisines and event styles. That journey inspired the vision to create a company where all that knowledge, creativity, and passion could come together in one place.
Influenced by Mediterranean, Asian, and Mexican cuisines—and many others—our menus reflect the diversity of flavors learned along the way. We are passionate about preparing high-quality, authentic dishes that not only taste exceptional, but also create memorable experiences for every event we serve.

Meet the Chef
California Gourmet Foods was founded in Los Angeles in 2024 by Chef Neftali M., after many years of hands-on experience working with catering companies and professional kitchens.
Throughout his career, Chef Neftali has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of cuisines and event styles, gaining valuable knowledge in Mediterranean, Asian, and Mexican cooking, among others. Those years of experience inspired him to create California Gourmet Foods as a way to bring together everything he learned and share it through thoughtful, high-quality cuisine.
Today, Chef Neftali remains personally involved in every event, ensuring that each menu reflects his passion for authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and exceptional service.
